    Ren Qilong

    Academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, PhD, Qiushi Distinguished Professor, Doctoral Supervisor, Dean of the School of Chemical Engineering and Bioengineering (School of Chemical Engineering) of Zhejiang University, Director of the Key Laboratory of Biomass Chemical Engineering of the Ministry of Education, Member of the Seventh Discipline Evaluation Group of the State Council Academic Degrees Committee, Vice President of Zhejiang Chemical Society, Young and Middle-aged Expert with Outstanding Contributions in Zhejiang Province, Expert Enjoying Special Government Allowance of the State Council. Dr. Ren is Mainly engaged in applied basic research and engineering practice in the field of chemical separation technology, especially focusing on the efficient separation of natural active substances, adsorption separation engineering. He has presided over and completed more than 20 key projects of the National Natural Science Foundation, the National 863 Program and corporate cooperation projects, published more than 190 papers included in SCI/EI, and authorized more than 40 invention patents. As the first finisher, he won 1 second prize of the National Technological Invention Award, 2 first prizes of the Zhejiang Provincial Science and Technology Award, 1 China Invention and Entrepreneurship Award and 1 China Patent Excellence Award.

    Chen Jing

    She is a researcher at the Lanzhou Institute of Chemical Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences, a doctoral supervisor, and the leader of the Molecular Catalysis and Technology Research Group at the State Key Laboratory of Carbonyl Synthesis and Selective Oxidation. Her research mainly focuses on the synthesis and reaction mechanisms of novel catalytic materials used in carbonylation reactions, functionalized ionic liquids, and nanocatalytic materials. She has made significant progress in areas such as the development of new carbonylation systems for oxygen-containing compounds, ionic liquid-catalyzed condensation and polycondensation reactions, as well as the hydrogenation performance of nanocatalysts. She has led and undertaken multiple key projects, including those under the Ministry of Science and Technology's 11th Five-Year Plan, major projects of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, national key R&D programs, major innovation projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China, and various development projects with CNPC, CNOOC, and other major domestic enterprises.

    Hu Xinquan

    PhD, Professor. He received his bachelor degree in Chemistry from Zhejiang University in July 1987, his master degree in Organic Chemistry from the Dalian Institute of Chemical Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences, in May 1990, and his PhD in Organic Chemistry from the same institute in August 1999. During his doctoral studies, he was a visiting scholar in the Department of Chemistry at Pennsylvania State University. He joined the School of Chemical Engineering at Zhejiang University of Technology in August 2005. His main research interests include homogeneous catalysis, selective oxidation, and the development of organic synthesis processes.

    Lu Yingying

    Born in November 1988, she is a Distinguished Researcher at the Joint State Key Laboratory of Chemical Engineering, Zhejiang University.
    She received her bachelor's degree from the School of Chemical Engineering and Bioengineering at Zhejiang University in June 2010, and her PhD from Cornell University in June 2014. After completing her doctorate, she conducted postdoctoral research in the field of energy materials at both Cornell University and Stanford University. In 2015, she was selected for the National Overseas High-level Talent Introduction Program (Youth Program).

    Shen Juefeng

    He graduated from Zhejiang Sci-Tech University with a degree in Materials Science and Engineering, and has held roles in R&D and R&D management at two publicly listed companies. He has been working in the ionic liquid industry for eight years, primarily focusing on the synthesis, analysis, and application development of ionic liquids. During this period, he synthesized nearly 500 types of ionic liquids, developed various analytical methods and performance indicators, established a comprehensive quality management system, and formulated over 30 corporate standards.
    He is also responsible for the application of ionic liquids in diverse areas, including organic synthesis catalysis, degradation catalysis, aluminum electrolysis, antistatic and antibacterial functions, extraction, and electrolytes. He has contributed to more than 25 related patents. As the second principal investigator, he is responsible for provincial-level pioneering and leading projects and oversees the overall development and execution of these projects.

    Zhao Hongchuan

    From 2018 to 2020, he served as the Product Technical Service Manager at a leading domestic listed silicone company. During this period, he published an industry journal paper and was awarded the title of Outstanding Employee in 2018. Between 2018 and 2020, he developed products that achieved over 5 million yuan in sales.
    Since 2020, he has been serving as the Product R&D Manager at Zhejiang LanDe Energy Technology Development Co., Ltd., focusing on the application research of ionic liquid-based antistatic agents and extractants. As the primary inventor, he has filed more than 10 patents, with 5 already granted.
    In May 2023, he was invited to deliver a keynote presentation titled Development of Ionic Liquid Extractants for Green and Environmentally Friendly Ultra-High Molecular Weight Polyethylene Fibers at the 6th Ionic Liquid and Green Process Industry Conference. In 2024, as the project leader, he completed the first product engineering research project of its kind in Zhejiang Province.
